Von 26. bis 30 Oktober 2017 findet in San Francisco die "World Conference of Science Journalists" statt. Die "World Federation of Science Journalists" ist Mitveranstalter.
The WCSJ2017 in San Francisco has added Mr. John P. Holdren as a high-profile keynote speaker. Mr. Holdren, a world authority on climate change science and policy, served two terms as President Obama’s science advisor. He will deliver a major address to international science journalists on climate change, urging global investments in cost-effective remedies to avoid the worst impacts in the future. Mr. Holdren will speak on Thursday 26 October at the opening afternoon.
A total of eight (8) keynote speakers will address the World Conference, they include Susan Desmond-Hellmann, CEO of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Thierry Zomahoun, CEO of the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences and Jennifer Doudna, Professor molecular and cell biology and chemistry, University of California, Berkeley.
On top of that, on Sunday 29 October there is a selection of 50 Luncheons with a Scientist available at UC Berkeley and UCSF. Sign up soon before your favorite fills!
